NTP is not working on my cisco WS-C3750E-24TD-Switch

Hi ,

I am trying to configure NTP on my L3 switch but Ntp clock is not synchronized .

My NTP Server is a Window 2003 server machine. The switch is directly connected with server .

I configure the switch as we configure generally.

NTP server ip address(x.x.x.x)

Please suggest the solution....

Please find the attached output of ntp status and ntp association.

System image file is "flash:c3750e-ipbasek9-mz.150-2.SE2.bin"

Wait, stop right there.  You are not the first, nor you will be the last to attempt to use an MS server as an NTP/SNTP source and FAIL.

Microsoft's interpretation of NTP/SNTP is NOT standard.   MS can synch with Cisco appliance for time synch but not the other way around.

You'll need to get your appliance to synch with something in the internet (for example) or you'll need to get a GPS-based NTP server.
