NTP source command disappears after reload!

Hi all,

I have a weird problem when specifying the ntp source interface. The command disappears after a relaod! The funny thing is that, when I specify the source interface with the ntp server togther "ntp server a.b.c.d source <interface>" the complete line is missing after a relaod.

I figured that problem out on a Cisco 876 with 12.4(24)T Advanced Enterprise.

If you have any ideas, pleas let me know.

Best regards,

Peter

I have the same problem, it disapears because the ntp source interface Lox command is parsed before the loopback interface is created.

It seems like a bug but i could not find much about it.

Hi all,

Anyone have an idea when was this bug was discovered? thanks in advance

Last year but no specific dates. This is effecting only the latest releases like 12.4.24 T/T1.
