Vijay,

This is expected behavior. When we exit config-mode we need to send the
configuration  to all switches in the stack, so that every switch will have
config on any switchovers.

As the config size increases it might take slightly more time.

Try to do it again it should work for you. Else use the secure crt you will not face this issue.

Inayath,

Tried many times but still the same,i am using secure crt only.

Can i know what is that Owner PID : -1 means?

Vijay,

Whats the firmware running on the devices?

And also have you disable the http server?

Inayath

Firmware is Current running IOS :c3750e-universalk9-mz.122-55.SE3.bin

I have disabled http server as well.

Can i know what is that Owner PID : -1 means?

I found the cause and the reason, Totally 8 switches are stacked and when i give write command without modifying the config it works fine. But when i modify it wont work for few seconds, later it does. Can i know the reason with the cisco document

Inayathulla,

Thanks for the answer.

It could be helpful, if u share a cisco document which says the below

When we exit config-mode we need to send the configuration  to all switches in the stack, so that every switch will have

config on any switchovers.
