odd pinging problem

Hello Guys,

I know this is HP related but the forums over there are dire!..............Right I have just received 8x HP  2530-48G-PoE+ Switch (J9772A), applied a very basic config to these and  tagged the port on the core (5406zl), now when its all connected i get  some very strange pinging responces, :

Me pinging from 2530::

2530 GUI:

Me pinging 2530 from laptop\server:

me ping core via 2530...............:

show cpu on 2530:

NOTE:

I also have 11x 2510G switches and every one of them works fine, i do not see this issue.....like with the 2530, same config etc,

I have tried 4x 2530 switches and they ALL do the same.

I have done the following:

I've updated the firmware on all of them - didnt make any difference

i've booted into the secondary image - didnt make any difference

Wiped them clean - - didnt make any difference

Updated the software on the 5406zl to the latest

Used difference cables (the 2530 is uplinked via a copper cables)

Ran the 2530 ON ITS ON with its own IP with a basic config and the pings are still all over the place when running on its own!

Ran the 2530 totally standalone!........with just an IP assigned and still does the same.

I cannot see anything in show logging.

No errors

Any ideas?

I've attached the show tech all log.....
