open ports on 1841series

                   Hello All

Can anyone explain a simple way of opening ports on a 1841 router

I have a working config for internet traffic. I am looking to boot up my Windows Server and Run IIS. For example i Would like to open ports for 80 www. IN a few steps can you explain.

You will more than likely need to run NAT on the 1841 unless you plan to give your server a public IP address

Having sorted that you will then need to run an ACL on the outside interface that allows port 80 traffic to the server

Having said that, no ACL will allow all traffic in so make a decision re all traffic or an ACL to permit your requirements
