Has anyone ever seen OSPF automatically change an area on a network argument especially when that area does not exist in the network?
Oddly enough I checked online and one Area 64 is related to AA.
Do you think whoever designed this protocol was trying to tell us something?

Hello Reza,
You are right..infact I have verified on few boxes with different IOS and as and when you remove network statement
it removes from output of "sh ip protocol"
well it could be some bug..may be not sure

That does not happen by itself. Someone must have added area 64. Check your ACS logs to see who has logged in to the device and added area 64
