ospf routing cost? area?

Hello,

I would like to be able to use our isp link as a redundant link only. I don't want any traffic to traverse that system unless absolutely needed(it is only needed to connect to 3550-11). For example, when I do a trace from 3550-20 to 3550-03 I would like all of the traffic to go through 3550-24 and 3550-02 and not directly to 3550-03. I have tried setting the ospf cost on the switches but it doesn't seem to help. Is there something I need to do differently with ospf or is it a different routing issue.

Dan.

Re: ospf routing cost? area?

Actually I think I solved it. I need to contact my ISP and have a secondary link connected to our network at location 3.

Thanks anyway.
