Re: OSPFV3 REdis

Did you enable OSPF on that interface?

Can you post the entire config?

Enabling OSPF on the interface will override any redistribution.

Re: OSPFV3 REdis

Can you post the config so I can tell you if you have it enabled or not ?

Also, are you seeing the 'O' route on the remote connection as IPv6 OSPF route or IPv4 OSPF route?

Can we see the portion of the routing table you are talking about?

Re: OSPFV3 REdis

Hi Edisson

Neig router output

O 100.100.30.0/24 [110/74] via 100.100.36.3, 00:52:45, Serial1/0

O 100.100.31.0/24 [110/74] via 100.100.36.3, 00:52:45, Serial1/0

the interface Matching in route-map via redis::

interface Ethernet0/1

ip address 100.100.31.3 255.255.255.0

ipv6 address 2001:233:ABC:31::/64 eui-64

end

Re: OSPFV3 REdis

Ali,

Those are IPv4 OSPF routes. If you want them shown as external on the remote routers, you need to redistribute E0/1 under the OSPF IPv4 routing process, not under the OSPF IPv6 routing process.

Can we see the portion of the OSPF IPv4 routing process from the routing holding the IP 100.100.31.3 ? I bet it has that network included. You need to remove the network and then do a redistribute on that interface.

I'm not sure what's the end goal with this configuration, though.

I Do much appreciated ur time to help me out.

this work Book questions

Have a look:

Re: OSPFV3 REdis

But you are looking at the IPv4 routing table.

First verify you are neighbor with the remote routers.

show ipv6 ospf neighbor

Then, check the ipv6 routing table

show ipv6 route

Stop thinking in IPv4 :) You get to learn all new commands with IPv6.
