OTV question

I'm getting ready to setup OTV between two of our data centers and have a quick question.

When I setup the L3 connectivity between the sites and set that interface to be the join interface, does that link also pass regular routed traffic?

I'm only setting up dual 10Gb links in a L3 port channel between the sites. If I have to separate the L3 traffic and the OTV traffic, I may have to order some additional links.

Yes, OTV join interfaces can also be used to route normal traffic. No need to order additional links. OTV is just an overlay on a layer 3 transport network. That is one of the benefits!
