pAgp and ether channel

Hi every body!

I need some help to understand the following:

I know PAgP dynamically modifies parameters of the ether channel if one of the bundled port is modified. how about if PAgP is not used rather etherchannel is configured as " channel-group 2 mode on " on both sides of etherchannel and one of the settings, let say duplex, of the port in etherchannel is changed?

How will such change affect the ether channel?

thanks alot!

Hi

PAgp is used for the dynamic neogotiation of ether-channel is not used for modification of the parameters, for Pagp to auto negotiate both the ends of the channel should have identical settings.

If u modify the duplex of one port in the etherchannel the channel is going to break,as ether channel requires all the ports in the channel should have identical configs.

Thanks
