Will I have a problem if i created a VPC peer between Nexus 5548P and Nexus 5548UP?

Thanks,

Hi Ismail,

That should not be a problem.  You can VPC 5k to 5k or 2k to 5k 7k to 7k, etc..  It is just a Portchannel.  The U on the 5k means unified fabric.

Hi Asmal

Reza is correct

vPC is supported between 5548P and 5548UP. The port capabilities are the same except that UP switch can run FC ports. When configured as Ethernet they are identical in terms of functionality.

You can bundle them together into a port channel.

HTH,

Alex
