Permission denied in switch prompt

Hi Guys,

I m getting permission denied message in switch prompt on 2950 when issuing dir flash: command.

This is what i get:

switch>sh priv

When you are really getting "Permission denied", it is likely that the switch has its default privilege levels modified in the configuration. In that case, either default the switch or consult it's administrator.

I m getting this message in switch: when trying to recover the password.

When i type dir flash: i m getting this message.

Mahmood,

It looks like your switch is missing an image file required for the bootup process.
