Hi,

I have ping problem and can not figure out.

I have 4 switches, 2x 3550,2x2950. They are connected with each with 2 cables.

They all have a  intel vlan 1

S1 172.16.1.3

S2 172.16.1.4

S3 172.16.1.103

S4 172.16.1.104

I can ping all in any switch.

I can ping 172.16.1.3 4 104 from windows CMD.

But no 103.

All switch have no routing protocol, only vlan 1.

I was using wireshark.

I can see the right mac address from ARP reply.

But no ICMP reply.

I don't understand why?

Please help me? Any idea? Advice?

Thanks

is your network looks like this, that two 2950 are connected to each other and then each 2950 to 3550 as per the below diagram?

2950<=====>2950
