pinging a ip device

PLease help what does this mean when you get this kind of reply back.

ping 192.168.175.1

Type escape sequence to abort.

Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.175.1, timeout is 2 seconds:

Success rate is 0 percent (0/5)

Hi Mark,

. means network server timed out while waiting for a reply

U means a destination unreachable error protocol data unit (PDU) was received
