Hi, we replaced a MS-TS2003 acting as router with a PIX501, haven't touched any other equipment. Did set RIP on the PIX as both default and passive version 2. The routing table to the secondary cisco device, is there - but when doing a trace from the clients the PIX states there is no route. However the PIX itself can ping the interfaces on the second and the third net. It is as if the PIX recieves the RIP info, but doesn't transmit what it knows. Therefore no clients on the secondary nets can reach the outside, nor any clients on the inside can reach the secondaries without adding local static routes to the clients. Any ideas?
Config is:
niternet:PIX:192.168.22.1
IOS-12 device at 192.168.22.3, routes to ATM net at 192.168.40.1, and next end in another city has 192.168.40.2, and behind that the local lan is 192.168.41.0/24.
cheers / Peter
