Hello,
You still have incorrect image in the switch flash. Please do the following:
-- Login into Cisco.com and download c2900xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC17.bin image
-- On Google, search for TFTPd32 and download it onto your PC
-- Install TFTPd32 on your PC
-- Ping the 2900XL switch from your PC. Make sure that the PING is
successful
-- Ping your PC from 2900XL and make sure that it is successful as well. If
the PING is not successful, check your PC and turn off any firewall
(Windows/Antivirus Software/VPN) and try again. Now start the TFTPd32
program (double click on the shortcut on your desktop)
-- Move the image you had downloaded earlier to C:/Program Files/tftpd32
folder on your PC
-- Now, delete the old image from the 2900XL
switch#delete flash:/c2900xl-c3h2l9s-mz.120-5.WC17.bin
-- Now copy the new image to the switch:
switch#copy tftp: flash:
Address or name of remote host []?
Source filename []? c2900xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC17.bin
Now reboot the switch. You should be able to reboot with the new image.
Hope this helps.

dear ..
i install this image c2900xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC17.bin through Xmodem , after the install finsh and reload it , the error appear for me
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
so now whta u say me to do
08-08-2010 02:37 PM
Hello,
You are getting those because some configuration line that were entered by
the earlier software version are not compatible with the new image. This
happens when you boot up the switch first time with the new image. If you
issue a "write mem" command and reload, you should not see that error
message again.
Hope this helps.

NT
