In my office we had five 2960S switches(Aceess Switches) and one 3750S switch(Distribution Switch). All 2960 switches connected to 3750 switch in Star topology and had 6 different VLANs. And all hosts are connected to 2960 switches. All inter VLAN routing is done by 3750S switch. I need to capture all traffic inside our LAN (Inorder to implimet OSSIM). So what is the way to configure a monitor port inroder to capture all traffic inside my network. In my understanding if I configure a SPAN in 3750 it will capture only routed packes because only routed packets will reach 3750. All other Intra VLAN communication between hosts are carried out by connectd 2960 switches itself. Please help me.
