poe is not working on WS-X6748-SFP.

Hi,

Fiber modules (SFP) do not support POE.  Only copper modules do.

for example this card support POE:

WS-X6548-GE-45AF

Have a look at table-7 in this link:

poe is not working on WS-X6748-SFP.

I was trying to connect Cisco Access Point using GLCT to the port..

Thanks for your valuable information.

poe is not working on WS-X6748-SFP.

Sorry, it will not work with GLC-T.

Please rate and close the threat, so others can benefit from it.

Won't work because a GLC-T SFP module doesn't support PoE either.

The only way to get the WAP working is to either use a power injector or a power pack/power brick.
