Policy-map control webpage

dear all,

please advice as i am thinking on limiting some of the bandwidth usage of users by reducing their "happy website" surfing speed.

i have made some config on a test router as follows;

!

!

class-map match-any happy

match protocol http url "youtube.com*"

match protocol http url "video.google*"

match protocol http url "metacafe.com*"

class-map match-any other

match any

!

!

policy-map happy-sux

class happy

police cir 56000 pir 64000

conform-action set-prec-transmit 0

exceed-action drop

policy-map user-download

description to allow normal traffic

class other

service-policy happy-sux

!

!

!

interface Fastethernet1/0

service-policy outbound user-download

rate-limit input 6000000 1125000 2250000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop

rate-limit output 6000000 1125000 2250000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop

fyi, i have taken it from the following link (http://www.ciscoblog.com/archives/routing/qos/)

my questions;

1) will it work as the "class other" do not have bandwidth configured or do i need to setup to default?

2)the user-download policy will be applied to Fastethernet 0/1, but on the interface we have rate-limit confgured. does it conflict in any way?

please advice/experience that can be shared.

thanks in advance
