I try to find the port buffer size on Cisco 2960. It seems that only 6500 line cards have that figure. Can anyone give me a clue? Thanks.

Yong,

On 2960 switches each ASIC has shared buffers (ingress of 192KB and egress of 384KB).I will not be able to provide a CCO link for the same and if you need to understand the architecture of the switch, Please contact your Cisco account team for the same.

HTH,Please rate if it does.

So,I think i can say for a 24-Port 2960 Switch, 24 ports share these 192KB ingress and 384KB egress buffer. That is 192/24 ingress and 384/24 for each port in other words?
