I currently have two 2950's connected to a device by port-channels, each 2950 has a single portchannel with two ethernet ports in the portchannels. each device is configured exactly the same, I ping the gateway from a device connected to a 2950 I get replies, if I move that device over to the other 2950 I get "request timed out" for approx 7 to 10 mins before the replies re-appear, Could this be a spanning-tree issue or something else?
I did that on both , is there a way to set up the ARP to recognize the movement of connections, Or is there a way to configure the switches to see each other in a way as not to cause a looping condition
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
