Port monitoring

I would like to know how i could enable switch port monitoring on ports that are on a different switch.

Eg:I have 2 2950 switch's SW1 and SW2 with 8 ports each;I would want to monitor the ports on the SW2 from SW1 .No Vlans configured.

Hi

U need to create a RSPAN vlan on both the switches and make the traffic from the source interface destined to the RSPAN vlan.

And on the SW1 make the source of traffic as RSPAN vlan and destination as the port on which port analyzer is connected.

I know that .But is there a way to do port mirroring with out creating any VLAN ?

I believe that creating an RSPAN vlan is your only choice.
