Hi all
When I am trying to enable port-security on a gigabit port of 3560g Switch. The message is coming "port-security can't be enabled on a dynamic port". Please suggest how to make a port type to "Static".

like
switchport access vlan vlanID

It works. port was already part of a VLAN. But #switchport mode access command was missing.
