I have a 3750G-24TS switch on version 12.2(25)SEE that I need to monitor traffic on.
I have tried using normal SPAN, but the server collecting the traffic also needs to have an active port to run other services, meaning SPAN doesn't appear to be a viable solution.
All the ports are local to the switch.
Can someone point me in the right direction for what I'm looking for?
Just to summarize, I need to:
- Have all traffic on specific ports (or a vlan) redirected/copied to a destination port used for logging.
- The destination port needs to be active for other services.
