portchannel/etherchannel

Hi. I just wish to verify if portchannel and etherchannel the same thing? I read some articles that basically speaks of the same thing. Thanks.

they are the same thing, and just to muddy the waters, you configure them using the "channel-group" command.

You'll see a portchannel as "interface PortChannelx"
