I am facing an issue, that i connect my laptop with one port of 7609, the port(gi4/47) goes in to Up/Down state continuously due to which my port-channel ports(4/48 & 7/40) goes in err-disabled state and the port-channel goes down. What can be the reason for this

Post the output to the command "sh interface Gi 4/47".

Let me rephrase my question ... Can you kindly plug a client back to Gi 4/47 and, if it's stable enough, wait for about 2 minutes and post the output to the command "sh interface Gi 4/47" and "sh counter interface Gi 4/47"?

currently it's not possible to connect the laptop at Gi4/47 because last time we have faced an outage due to this. So we can't do it without some MW. If you need some further info then plx inform.

Post the configuration of Gi 4/47 interface.

40589807 packets output, 5427090316 bytes, 0 underruns
This clearly indicates that there is issue with the tx media such as ur UTP/Fiber cable.
Issue clear counter gi4/47 and test if these number increment even after that.
regards.

ensure the port gi4/47 is an access port and not part of any other etherchannel.
post the o/p of sh run int gi4/47 , sh int gi4/47 switchport and sh run int po " x"
