Ports in WS-CE500-24PC go to errdisable state and disable after an outage

When there is an outage the ports in CE500 go to down state (errdisable state)

I have 7902 IP phones conected, in order to restablish the ports I have to do manually.

is it posible to avoid the ports remain in down state after the power return.

Do you have computers and phones connected to the ports or only IP Phones? Which smartport role are you using on those ports? Are you using 12.2(25)FY on that switch? If yes, pls upgrade as your first troubleshooting step. Latest IOS for that platform is 12.2(25)SEG5 but, go over release notes before deciding for a code to upgrade (if applicable)

Hi garytay:

The current IOS is 12.2/25 SEG4, should I upgrade it?

That port has 7902 IP phones which just handle IP phones (not computers). The smart por roles is IP phone.

regards

There is no need for an upgrade since you already have the SEG4 version. Do you have vlans on the switch? At least one for data and the other one for voice? Since those 7902 can only do 10/half-duplex are you using those same settings on the switchports?
