Power Calculator for Cat4510R

We have a C4510R with only data line card. The power calcutator calculates 729 Watt of power and set as a minimum Power Supply the 1400Watt PS (see attachment). But in this case the 1300Watt PS can also be used. Or not ?

Why does the power calculator not consider this possiblity ?

Re: Power Calculator for Cat4510R

The reason you are not getting the 1300 Watt PS is because you have selected DATA Only module/configuration. 1300 Watt PS doesnot come as data only, it come with data and POE flavour.

If you select the POE option than you need atleast 4200 watt PS.

HTH,please rate if it does.
