power failure Catalyst 3750G-48T

I installed new Catalyst 3750G-48T , one week back, today morning , I found no power and no indication that that AC power outlet of the switch is damaged,just simple no power, couldn't be hardware problem, did anyone exprience such case

I believe you have to replace it.

Is switch connected to UPS or regular power outlet? Is there any surge protection? Sometimes a lightning could cause power issue on switch if there is no any surge protection and the grounding of power outlet is not good.
