Power Supply

Hi NetPro,

does anyone can share with me what does this mean ?

Aug 13 12:26:19.781: %C6KENV-SP-4-PSFANFAILED: the fan in power supply 1 has failed

Aug 13 12:26:21.389: %C6KPWR-SP-4-PSFAIL: power supply 1 output failed.

Aug 13 12:26:21.393: %C6KPWR-SP-4-PSREDUNDANTONESUPPLY: in power-redundancy mode, system is operating on one power supply.

Aug 13 12:26:41.409: %C6KPWR-SP-4-PSOK: power supply 1 turned on.

Aug 13 12:26:41.413: %C6KPWR-SP-4-PSREDUNDANTBOTHSUPPLY: in power-redundancy mode, system is operating on both power supplies.

Looks as the FAN in one of your PS is begining to have issues.. is this a one time occurance or is it happening intermitently.

1. %C6KENV-4-PSFANFAILED: the fan in power supply [dec] has failed

The fan in the indicated power supply has failed. This condition could lead to the overheating and shutdown of the power supply.

Recommended Action: Replace the power supply as soon as possible.
