Problem with 3560g switch

Dear all,

When i connect my switch to hyperterminal using console cable, switch boots perfectly but i cant see the prompt. Instead of that i am getting below:

%LINEPROTO - 5-UPDOWN : Line protocol on Interface Vlan1. Changed state to down

%SPANTREE- 5 - EXTENDED_SYSID Extended SysID enabled for type VLan

%SYS-5-RESTART : System Restarted

Problem with 3560g switch

Hi Raj,

just reset the switch :

Physically opened the switch,

- Hold the mode button  (directly on the mini board) and reboot the unit – Release it when the light on top 1x went off

- Accept the message to reset to factory default

- type boot and voila problem fixed.
