I'm almost embarassed to ask this, but I seem to have an issue enabling the management port on a 5760 WLC -- two of them in fact.
On one unit I used the built-in setup script, on the other unit I tried manual configuring.
In both cases, the MGMT LED does not light up at all (I don't know what normal behavior is). Only when I set both the WLC and switch port (Cisco 4500) to auto does the switch show connected (at 100/HD) but the WLC shows down-down regardless of what I've tried.
Please tell me I'm missing something tremendously stupid here (and preferably what it is I'm missing).
