Problem with Expert Setup on Catalyst 500

I am running Expert Setup on a Catalyst 500 and it runs through fine but when I run a browser it does not bring up the page.

I have gone through all the troubleshooting points without success.

What is the default Ip address of the box when it is set for expert setup?

Does it hand out dhcp addresses, becuase the laptop I am using is not getting a valid address it is getting a 169 addrees.

Can I just point my broswer to the ip address of the switch to run device manager?
