Hi Guys

I have a Catalyst 4503E switch with a Supervisor II+TS. I have monitoring for several weeks and I see that the process is over 40%:

SwCore_1#sh processes cpu history

I have doubts about the behavior. I sent the show process cpu sorted too:

Hi,

There is no unusual behaviour from the (show processes cpu sorted) command. Could you please run this command again when the CPU reaches 40 or above 40% and post the output here.

As ageneral note, 40% is not Scary Percentage of CPU utilization, but for checking purposes , you should figure what most consumes your CPU.

HTH

Mohamed

As previous poster said that is not high . these switches will show 30% with nothing running on them .  If you worried about it then go thru the high cpu doc.
