Hi,

We use PROXY Server (ISA) to use internet in our Wired and Wireless media, When using Wireless Media (Via TPLINK Wireless Router NATTED IP Addresses) we need to configured PROXY Server address on Mobile / Laptop device to surfing internet.

My query is that there is any way to configured our PROXY address in TPLINK router ? so there will no need to configured proxy address in Mobile / Laptop devices.

Scenario is as under.

PROXY SERVER ----> LAN (10.0.0.0/24) ----> WIFI Router (WAN Interface = 10.0.0.10, WIFI NATTED = 192.168.1.0/24)

Regards,

Arshad

Hi Arshad,

Actually for these type of requirement we normally deal with AD group policy where we know user databse in our environment and via group policy for wireless users proxy ip address is tagged to there profie. So whene ever they login and connect to wireless there browser is congred with proxy ip address.

Hope it Helps..

Hi Arshad,

Yes , It was challenge for us also but we have controlled the mobile device centralised configireution using Airwatch MDM external service , Through which we used to manage the device confgirtion and can force what is actually required on these device such as certain setting ,wi-fi and data upload or download facility.

Hope it Helps..
