I have a remote site, connected via 6MB wan link, that I recently deployed a UCM subscriber (as part of my main campus cluster). Originally, I set up qos as follows:
class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-RTP-Trust
match ip dscp ef
class-map match-any AutoQoS-VoIP-Control-Trust
match ip dscp cs3
match ip dscp af31
priority percent 70
bandwidth percent 5
Around 100 devices (75 7900 series phones, a VG-224 with all 24 ports configured and connected, and a PRI to the pstn for DID related inbound calls, and all non-company non-5-digit internal calls)
With the intra cluster traffic tagged, (and per CCO SRND article, it uses DSCP 24), I would like to know if I am best served by moving the "match ip dscp cs3" to the 70% class-map statement, or should I balance the bandwidth percentages from 70-5, to something like 50-25? As always, a big thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, for marking the DSCP 24 traffic at the switchport (3560 POE switch) for that sites subscriber, do I need config above what the autoqos places on that port?
Hi everyone, I would like to thank you in advance for any help you can provide a newcomer like myself!
