I have read a number of articles about Nexus 7000 QOS and many internet threads/blogs that contain recommendations but I’m still unclear on the correct configuration and queuing types. I’m in the process of building a multi-tenancy dev environment with a 10Gb link to a 3750-X(10Gb) from the WAN VDC on my Nexus 7k. The 3750-X will be used for customer MPLS/LES routers providing layer 2 connectivity to their SVI within a VRF on the Core VDC. I need to shape/police the 10Gb pipe for each customer either ingress on the 3750-X(connection from CE) or egress on the 3750-X 10Gb port(10Gb to WAN VDC). Also would it be advised to shape egress on the WAN VDC(10Gb Port to 3750-X) to ensure that customers will not exceed the allowed bandwidth on the 10Gb link? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
