I have these cards in a distribution Cat6500: WS-X6348-RJ-45
I know that they are quite old and that they do not have a priority queue (Rx: 1q4t Tx:2q2t) However could we configure a basic QoS strategy? May be we could configure one output queue for voice and the other one for data. Today we do not really require QoS in our LAN because we have enough bandwidth. But, in the case of a traffic storm/Internet DDoS/Worms, etc. we would like to have some mechanism to minimize the troubles under congestion. Any advice, ideas?
