QPM3.2 - TELNET error

I discovered this 6509 switch with 12.2S. QPM is able to 'show run' on it, but when i rediscover its status is coming up as 'telnet error'. Also a deployment job failed on it with the same error message. What could the reason ? I have entered the access parameters again, but they can't be wring since 'sho run' works.

These are the common causes for Telnet errors:

1)The device Telnet password entered in QPM is incorrect. Correct the Telnet password in QPM.

2)SSH is enabled, but SSH login failed because SSH is not configured correctly on the device. Fix the SSH configuration on the device.

3)The login to the device failed.

4)There is no Telnet connection to the device.

5)The prompt is non-standard.
