Hi all, with queing in switches, how doe they work, I know by default it is FIFO, so does FIFO work on a per frame basis or per flow ? if it was per flow I guess there would be big queues ?

also how does WFQ work?

who decides the queing mechanism on the switch, and do they really make that much difference ?
