Good day. Sorry for bad English :) Please advise me in hardware choice. I have a switch cisco-3560x-24p. I need to choose a 1Gb SFP to connect my cisco with dlink 3120-24 (with SFP module DEM-310gt). Dlink's SFP module operates with 1310 nm both Tx and Rx. But cisco SFP modules, that recommended for 3560x, works at 1310Tx/1490Rx and 1490Rx/1310Tx. Thank you for help.

I suggest you 1000BASE-LX/LH in multimode fiber option. It works on 1310nm...you are reffering to wrong SFPs in your post for Cisco switch.

Thank you for answer. Unfortunately we cannot use multimode fiber. What you mean "you are reffering to wrong SFPs in your post for Cisco switch"? I have choosed an SFP module via this page: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750x_3560x/hardware/installation/guide/3750x_3560x_HIG/HIGOVERV.html#wp1238002

There is LH option for same SFP in SM option so go with that one GLC-LH-SM=...I was meaning that you are refering to SFPs that are used for transmision using only one optical wire - one wavelength for transmit and other for receiving. That way you are having cost reduction...link which you provided is totally fine.

Thank you very much for help. My previous link did not contained such info about GLC-LH-SM= :) Another link http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/OL_6981.html ; has more info about this module. So finally I can take GLC-LH-SM= and it must work with DEM-310GT ? Correct? :)

It should work...I checked dlink sfp also and both are based on 802.3z standard. Also dlink support both - MM and SM. But you are going to work with SM so it's OK.
