"mac-address-table static" command

Hello

Please if, I use more than one interface for a unique mac adresse in the command ""mac-address-table static"", in this case, the switch will use the first interface declared or it will forward the frame to the all interfaces configured ??

thanks for help

Re: "mac-address-table static" command

Bonjour,

If we go by the book, I think that the switch will forward to all ports with mac-add configured but only the one that is up will reply to the broadcast. mac address-statis is solely used for security if i understand it properly.
