RADIUS Server for Cisco 2950

Hi,

i have set up a RADIUS server(freeradius) in linux,now you i tell my switch to authentication via radius server? i mean the user name & password will be on the radius server. switch should prompt for user name & password so that it will get the info from the radius server, what are the commands should i specify in the cisco 2950?

i am bit confussed about the radius setup in the switch, is that configuration below mentioned will be sufficient for a very simply authenctication?

radius-server host 10.1.1.1 nonstandard

radius-server key

my requirement, username & password will be set on the radius server, all the switches should log in with the username & password mentioned on the radius server,

Hi, you'll need to specify an AAA group and then the aaa external server (the radius)
