Redundant Supervisor Engin For 4507R

I have an 4507R with one Supervisor Engin V card. I want to add a redundant supervisor engin card to my 4507R Chassis.

Can i use supervisor engin 6-E for redundant or i must use Supervisor Engin V ?

Witch model of Supervisor Engines Supported with this chasis?

Ali,

You need to have the same exact sup modules and IOS in the chassis, if not, SSO will not work.

Hi,

As above said, you need to have same supervisor engines and same ios versions on both.
4507 will support both V and 6-E but when you need to keep two supervisor enginers then you must have same type/model of both.
