Hello, greetings fellow Wouldbe Network Admins/Engineeers/actual Network Engineers. I have a brief question for you guys. It's rather simple.
In my IPv4 scheme on a particular router, I had 2 static routes, I removed them in favour of just 1 summarized static route as follows:
WEST(config)#no ip route 172.16.32.0 255.255.248.0 10.10.10.5
WEST(config)#no ip route 172.16.48.0 255.255.248.0 10.10.10.5
WEST(config)#ip route 172.16.32.0 255.255.224.0 10.10.10.5
Wouldn't that be he correct summarized static route? The 172.16.32.0/19 ?
Was there anything I miss-configured there? Thanks!

Yes your summary route covers those ranges but it also covers more ie.
172.16.32.0 255.255..248.0 goes up to 172.16.39.255
172.16.48.0 255.255..248.0 goes up to 172.16.63.255
whereas your summary -
172.16.32.0 255.255.224.0 goes up to 172.16.63.255
so you have also included -
172.16.40.0 -> 172.16.47.255
which your original routes didn't cover.
This may or may not be an issue depending on your setup.
