Hello,
I have an existing simple REP ring. I would like to add redundant connections to this ring to upstream distribution switches at different locations. The upstream distribution switches are running STP.
These connections will be for one of the VLANs trunking around the REP ring. If I add these connections at the 2 different locations, will this create a loop as the REP ring will not pass STP BPDU's? Are there settings for REP to permit this design of having access to the ring VLANs at 2 different locations?
