Replace Switches with a 3750 Stack

Our floor closets use stacked 3750 switches (2 to 6 switches per stack).  The current hardware will be replaced by 3750v2 switches.  The switch at the top of the rack is the master (set by priority).  The remaining switches have the default priority.  Is there a way to replace the switches and have the configuration automatically populate the new switches?  Switches can be replaced one at a time.

The 3750v2 is fully backwards compatible with the 3750.

Add the v2 master to the stack first as a pre-provisioned switch, adjust the priorities, and then create an event where a new master would be elected. It can be one of these two, to be safe:

1) Power off the existing stack master.

2) Add an additional already-powered-on 3750 to the stack as a catalyst (no pun intended) to cause a new stack master election. Note -- in this scenario, the previous stack master has some additional weight so it could win anyways. You may want to put the existing master to priority 15 to try and counteract this.

Then add your other V2 switches, the config will replicate, move cables to the v2 switches (after configuring ports to duplicate one of the v1 switches), remove old v1 switches to keep the stack maximum of 9 from being overrun. Eventually this shell game will get you left with a stack of v2s and no v1s (which appears to be your intent).
