ROMMON MODE ON A 3640 ROUTER

I shut down my 3640 router which i use for RAS access and now when i power it up it goes into ROMMON mode,any suggestions on how to get it back to it's normal operating mode without losing the configs on the box..?

You might want to look up the 'config register'

I see your post was very useful, Would the config register not be an option on this scenario?

There are multiple reasons why a router may boot into rommon. Config register is certainly one of those reasons. The link that Dandy provides gives some of the other approaches to resolving the issue.
