route is not appeared in eigrp topology table.

hi guys,

good day.

i tried to figure out how can i solve the problem presented in gns3 vault (

http://gns3vault.com/EIGRP/eigrp-intermediate.html) - eigrp intermediate.

the goal is to change the bandwidth of R2 to 100 and without further modification to R2, R4 should have

2 entries for the 1.1.1.0 network (tru R2 and R3). and use on bandwidth and delay to achieve this.

I tried to change the bandwidth of R3 but only one route will appear to R4 (using "show ip eigrp topo all links command").

why is it the other link going to 1.1.1.0 is not appeared to topology table?

route is not appeared in eigrp topology table.

Hi,

Can you try increasing the variance to 3 and check.

Thanks

route is not appeared in eigrp topology table.

yup,

I tried to increase the variance to about a value of 50. what i was wondering about is that the route is not appeared on the topology table (using show ip eigrp topo all links command). the route must be appeared first on the eigrp topology table before we can include it on the routing table using the variance.

i also tried to shutdown the one link of R3 fa0/0:192.168.34.3 just to get the FD/AD of R2. and here it is...

R2:

via 192.168.24.2 (25733120/25730560), FastEthernet1/0

R3:

via 192.168.34.3 (25479424/25476864), FastEthernet0/0

route is not appeared in eigrp topology table.

Erratum:

it should be:

use on bandwidth and variance to achieve this.
