Hi,

If I have the following networks:

204.15.5.0/27

204.15.5.32/27

204.15.5.64/28

204.15.5.80/28

204.15.5.96/30

Then my best summary address is :

204.15.5.0/25

Regards,

Phil.

Yes and that would obviously include 204.15.5.100 - > 204.15.5.127

In order to determine the summary route on a router, you must first decide the number of highest-order bits that match in all addresses.

2nd...

Second, locate the bits where the common pattern of digits ends (those in red). Lastly, count the number of common bits. The summary route number is represented by the first IP address in the block, followed by a slash, followed by the number of common bits.

Correct.. your sum route is 204.15.5.0 / 25
